I've driven MANY heavy spec Mack dumps daily for years(New England roads...),and no doubt it's tough to move at the end of the day!Fine for a hobby truck though :twothumbsup:

:loldude: !! It's good to know I'm not the only one that's not affraid of driveing their short R700 V8 :twothumbsup: . I'm still alive and have a good back(for now :whistling: ). That's a really good find. Hope you enjoy it and DON'T SELL IT! Operating range is 1350-2400 RPMS on the 325 V8s.

Thanks, Josh :bulldog3::SMOKIE-LFT:

that ain't what I asked.

Ok,let me dust off my crystal ball...... ;) .I'll let you know if I get to it this week.Been in South Carolina since the "80's,so it was sitting in a pretty dry climate.Fluids look good,i think some fresh fuel and batteries she'll be up and running.Two 12V batt.'s good to get her cranked?Had 6V's originally.

I thought my 73 RS V8 was 24 volt, I was using 2 12 volt batteries to start it. then one day I thought I would use one 12 volt to see if it would start, it started right up I thought the V8s turned over hard and used 24 volt starters, I was wrong.

Looks good, Shawn. How's the interior?

Door panels,headliner are all real good and useable.Dash has a few cracks but could be made nice.Would be a nice truck to give a thorough cleaning and paint it,keep it mostly original.Or it would be an easy restoration,i just don't have a shop to do that.Even the glass is in nice shape,not all scratched and pitted.
