Is there any way to know how many shims were installed at the factory on a truck? This truck was takin apart and all the stuff was just thrown in a box and handed to us to put together.

The truck may never pull a load again but on the other hand the shims may contribute to the truck dog tracking and the way it drives.

I ve never had this problem before since I always put them back together the same way it comes apart.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Can't find the info page, memory says that the pinion angle should be zero on both axles for camelback suspension.

The transverse rod can be shimmed after taking some measurements with the truck at ride height so it doesn't dog. Keep in mind this will be approximate if the truck is in rubber.

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

If the truck has a trunnion with camelback suspension, the shims/washers at the trunnion go 1 3 3 1.

Meaning- 1 washer at bolt head, 3 washers inbetween front torque arm and trunnion, 3 washers inbetween trunnion and rear torque arm, and 1 washer at bolt nut.
