never seen the tophat style chrome, have only seen the rounded hubcap style as I call it in chome. they show up on ebay rarely. most all early R model firetrucks had the chrome hubcap style over.

Seems like Watts sells the style you want. Been awhile since I checked but worth the look in the B Model section of their site.

Thx- Watts has nothing-same for Iowa 80, and Berube. I think if I'm going to do anything, its fgoing to be with a piece of chrome/stainless exhaust pipe and the cap stays black. I do have a length of chrome pipe but the OD is wrong I guess if I want to do anything I'm going to have to fabricate a black collar that won't be too conspicuous.

I bought my chrome riser from Matt Phal. Kit came with new small cap painted black. I used my big cap.

No pipe I found comes in the right size to fit.

id like a pipe/stack for mine a well as the damn vent window hits the top when u open the door. I don't need chrome tho. Matt Pfahl use to have sme at Macungie years ago but not lately

yea that or I think he is selective on what hes sellin off now. I don't blame him, hard to sell parts when you need them to restore trucks that make your living

I bought 4-5 of them, put one on my truck. I guess I bought them just to have around like all the other B model parts that I am not using.

Yes I have 3 left, I will have to see if I want to part with one. part number on the box is 5MD2312P2 for the kit.
