Been off the site for a while. Glad to be back on looking around.

I would like to get a bit more speed on my little B20. It has the 2speed rear but not enough. Would like to slow engine down a bit while traveling at 40mph. Is this something that can easily be done? Yes- rear end is in high.

Thanks,

Peter

Gear Vendors makes an add on overdrive which would keep the original trans and rear end gear. You would have to fab brackets to mount it and make up new driveshafts.

It is a pricey unit but may be worth considering.

Jim

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

ditch the 2 speed, keep the tranny and just swap out the rear end hogs head. should be able to find a higher single or double reduction gear set for that. im sure your runnin 8.25 x 20's. you could also change up to 9.00 or 10.00 x20's to gain some mph
