My first thought is fuel related.

Old filters. tiny hole in fuel line-sucking air, crap at bottom of tank causing blockage.

Success is only a stones throw away.................................................................for a Palestinian

If it turns over and starts right up after that its not likely fuel.

Any check engine lights?

Low coolant, oil pressure or temperature related shutdowns are usually delayed by about a minute???

May even have an idle shutdown programed in.
