Saved the photos then expanded them. There's something wrong with the headlights, it like there airbrushed? Could be light headed from all the snow I shoveled.

Airbrushed...the lights on the red SLII look correct.

Had 13 buds when I looked at it most were from 1 bidder, I was thinking they were running up the bid, I was out after $40.

I knew taking 1 of each brochure on that rack, would payoff one day! :loldude:

I always took 2 or 3 from the rack (tractors, cars, etc.). Hence my collection (and potential retirement income).

From about 1966 to 1990 I would visit the new car dealers annually to get the latest literature (in recent years most of the brochures are online and hard copies are difficult to obtain). As long as I can remember I picked up John Deere literature everytime I visited. I didn't visit Mack or other HD truck dealers so my collection is light in the HD trucks area.

I always grabbed brochures from Goodman Truck and Tractor in Amelia, Va. when I was a kid too. They were the local IH dealer...too bad I have no idea what happened to any of them. Still have a bunch of 60's baseball cards though.

How about this one? It is a large picture of the MH used on the cover of the Owner's Manual. I offered the guy $10 plus shipping. His reply was "it is too difficult to package and take to the post office". Gee, slap it between two (2) pieces of cardboard and send it. Would cost less than $10. He stated he paid $25 for the picture. Good luck!

My Dad was always good about that too Al,whenever we were at or near a truck dealer,he knew "i'll just be a minute"! Horner Mack, (my local dealer in Jersey) the salesmen all knew my family and i,they'd save me one of each of the new brochures, calenders, hats etc. always answered my questions (no matter how dumb!),let me check out all the new trucks! I guess it worked,as I bought 3 out of 4 of my trucks from them!.................................Mark

I couldn't get the link to work (surprise) but there is some nut listing an "EXTREMELY RARE" Mack ashtray on the local Craigslist for $300.00 FIRM!.....................................Mark

That thing may work as a good reason to stop smoking for that price.

Smokers shouldn't worry though, there was alot of more reasonable offers a week back at least.

Relisted MH picture. BUY NOW price is $49.99 plus $25 shipping. Still not worth it in my opinion. But Christmas is coming...hint hint.
