ginger Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 some old truckie came up to me at servo and said something about putting charcoal oil in my old mack I cantseem to find out about it it is burning oil and just wondering if anyone has a suggestion about what to put in itps) new truckie still a lot to learn... farmer52 Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 Are you using 15W-40 weight oil? If so, there is a reason your engine is using oil (worn rings/liners and/or valve guides, external leaks). There is no oil fix for mechanical wear. How many miles since overhaul?
