Dirtymilkman. Ive been wondering. How do you keep the milk pump from freezing up? I haul milk here in N.H. part time and this winter its been tuff. Pumps freeze, valves on trailer freeze. We carry 5 gal jug of hot water in the compartment and it still freezes. Farmer and I were talking about the cold out youre way and wondering how that all works

Ws721.....On the farm pick up units I just have a 4" halogen backup light mounted in the cabinet. It creates enough heat to keep it thawed. Some guys have a small heater that hooks to the truck engine with quick connects by the glad hands. If the truck is parked for the night outside we'll hand a heat lamp in it.

ECD .......its a heatwave here! 12 degrees!

Same here, only -6c today, and no windchill!!!!! But weather asshole says -15 for highs next week...I love winter, but I've had enough :)

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

Stop it ECD, it looks too nice down your way! This is my home 20.............while getting an additional 7" of snow!

LOL. Before you know it we will be complaining about the heat and humidity. I for one maintain that you can always put more layers on but can only take so many off. Well take them legally. LOL
