Hey all: new guy, first post. Saw an ad in Hemmings for a 1948 Mack EF and what can I say? It spoke to me. She is now sitting in my shop stubbornly resisting being taken apart for a 100% total restoration. Every fastener is frozen. She is SN EF1S11368, delivered from the Allentown factory on 5 March 1948 and shipped to San Francisco. It originally had a Continental engine, but somewhere in time had a big straight-6 Diamond T engine put in her. I want to sell this engine, so if anyone has an interest in a running Diamond T JXD engine, SN 1674884, let me know at pfstockdale@gmail.com. Thinking of repowering with a Ford V-10 gas EFI unit.
