The block is cracked on the engine in the truck and I am just looking for some options. CML Service Posted March 7, 2008 Share Posted March 7, 2008 Cracked blocks are not always terminal. Many common water jacket cracks are easily repairable. I have seen engines run for years with unrepaired cracks that seep. I even have at least one farm tractor that I bought with a poorly repaired crack. It seeps some from under the "stuff" that was smeared on it but I have no desire to find out what is under there.
