New, Hoping to learn many new things about Macks

Hello all,

Having grown up in Allentown Pennsylvania, having a minimum of 11 relatives working for Mack and having the luxury of driving Mack Fire Apparatus ranging in age from 1950 to 1985, I wanted to join a group of like minded folks.

I am a Vet of the US Navy and the US Army and retired from AFD after 31 years as a Firefighter.

The Macks above are, 1985 Mack Aerialscope that served me so well for many years, what I was "told" was a prototype for the Aerialscope and the raised ladder is a Mack 1910 Tractor that made up Americas "1st" motorized Aerial device bought by Allentown Fire Department.

MADDOG93, That was my 2nd bid job. Loved "flying" it but the gas engine wasn't very good.
