Things that I have worked on go back together with flange bolts.

yup flange bolts or step up bolts. make sure you spend the extra money and get the exact size drill bit for the step up bolt. the old timers use to replace the 5/8ths rivets with 3/4 bolts when reinstalling the cab mount crossmember, I have seen this done also not really much benefit to it tho.

I also had to do some drilling to line up the holes for the rivets.

That all was the story though...
