Checked a few stations and they all are the same. Is that a N.Y. thing or is it all over and whats it pay for? Tax, processing fee? The attendant had no idea why. Damned if I'll pay an extra $50/60 per fuel up, Just plain can't afford it with this never ending winter. I was told by the Suffolk County Consumers Hot Line it is scattered and they are going after the stations that are doing it. THe said to save my receipt if I purchased fuel. I usually fuel up at the Indian Reservation in Mastic, Diesel is half a buck cheaper than anywhere else. I was just lazy and on the way to ADESSA. Yes total sale full tank $2.95. Paid $3,75 for a cup of coffee at the hotel. Yes in 1997 I paid $.99 gallon in GA filling up. Where is the benefit for the American people? We The People!!?? I know what I spent in fuel last year, and it was uncalled for when we have so much of it, but when will it be a plus for the people instead of selling it off to the highest bidder and we get no break?
