Trautma Posted March 26, 2014 Share Posted March 26, 2014 Hello I am installing a steinbauer chip on my 2003 mack ch613 with E7-460p engine. Was wondering if all of the unit pumps have the same polarity, as in left post negative right post positive. Having a little trouble figuring out where wires go and want to be sure. Thanks! Mackpro Posted March 26, 2014 Share Posted March 26, 2014 As far as the EUP itself, I dont think there is a + and -. It just makes a simple circuit and activates a electro-magnet in the EUP. But all the harnesses are laid out that way. I one time reversed the wires on a EUPto see what would happen and it still fired with no miss. But I could be wrong. Happy with results so far, I'm pulling super b grain trailers and on one hill I pull often went from cresting hill at 50km/h before to 70km/h now with chip installed. Thanks for the help.
