Yeah I'm hoping we're done with the snow. I been itching to get the old Superliner outside and wash it . I need a warm day to paint the fifth wheel before I put it on . I'm hoping to get it safety checked and ready to go hopefully next month.

That's exactly why I asked! Lol! I used to see a TON of single axle Valueliners pulling sets of bottom dump trailers in Californy!..............a lot of bulk fruit/vegetable haulers used them too, outfit in Gilroy,CA (The garlic capitol of the U.S.) had some that looked a lot like yours, that pulled doubles loaded with garlic or tomatoes, same color.............can't remember the name though!............................Mark

Wow, wow, don't swap a hard to find single axle to a tandem please, you can find tandem R models all over. Damn nice looking truck for sure.

I had a little spare time and the weather is finally better so I got the Superliner out of the shed this afternoon, and took a photo. Then I backed her inside again and I changed a damp wheel seal and decided to pull the drain plugs on the rear ends and let them drain overnight. Oil was dirty but no metal in it so if I get a chance tomorrow I'll put a little Lucas and fresh gear oil back in.

Ahhh,,,a fellow Lucas believer! I bleeve in that stuff, even pour a lil on my cheerios in the morning, never have impacted turds anymore,,,just slide right on out,,,randyp
