Looks nice in white. No idea where it is at this time but its sharp. Doing final assembly and detail of the brakes, drums and spokes on the 49 myself. Found wheel bearings on the front were toast. $312 with NTN, $500 with Timken. Went with NTN.

Irvington, NJ Fire Department's website shows three "L" model fire engines, two red and one

white. The white one was a 1952 but it was all white including the grill. This could be the same

one with the grill repainted. Irvington nicknamed the white one "The Flying Nun" due to its

unique homemade roof and hose bed cover. Check out the website for lots of old IFD

apparatus photos.
