"Six Days on the Road" - Sawyer Brown, though I can't remember who sang it originally... and Eddie Rabbit's "Driving My Life Away" seem to make me push a little harder, no matter what I'm driving. "Radar Love" makes me wanna run until the engine scatters!

Being in the process of getting your CDL's is like sitting on death row...

I think I still have a couple of those trucking song albums buried somewhere out in a storage building.

Dave Dudley was the first to record "Six Days on the Road",, BUT I have heard that it was written by a stick hauler team out of the Hickory NC area who had a local Saturday Night C&W band.

I like all music, except in the morning its Howard Stern. Can't stand Springsteen though, I think he's a east coast thing. I love hillbilly and rock

He had one good song, Born to Run.

I've seen ZZ Top in concert 4 times, with Grand Funk, the Black Crowes, the Screaming Cheeta Wheelies- or something like that- and Lynard Skynard. But the one I missed and wish i'd gone to was when they had a concert in Roanoke with George Thorogood.

It is hard to say but I notice I have to watch my speed with these songs going. There are a lot more but these are at the top.

Five Finger Death Punch Lift Me Up (Featuring Rob Halford of Judis Preist) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-2yuGgp_U8

BTW Five Finger Death Punch has done a remake of the House of the Rising Son, if you don't like the music mute and watch the video looks like a couple chopped and ratted out Macks. Side note to that Five Finger Death Punch has done a lot of for the troops and have done USO tours since they have been together, most famously to the troops was there remake of Bad Company https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_VsvZmIWxY

Speaking of ZZ Top, I ordered this barbecue sauce and hot sauce from their website. The hot sauce is delicious, tastes almost exactly like my homemade sauce. I've never tried the barbecue sauce yet.
