I hassled the track owner Saturday morning about the starting line being greasy. He smacked me into the arm and said "I saw you yesterday". We had TNT runs Friday night. Bob the owner is super nice and a diehard Ford guy too.

428..................well, it was just a 428. I put a 4.25 stroker crank in it a year back. It is now a 462ci 428. Made 625 hp in the dyno at 6500 rpm. I leave at 5500 rpm, shift at 6500. It has gone 10.8's @ 123 mph in the 1/4 mile. Car and driver is 4100#.

Nice- my second new car was a 68 Torino GT -notchback-rare-with a C-6, 428 CJ, 4.30 gears. I'll try to scan some old pix Those are great times for your big beast!

Mike, Carl has been on the car since about 2000. He helped me get the blower stuff for the black car when I did it in 1999. I've known him for 25 yrs now.

Trent, there is a fellow running locally with a Deville, his name is "Cadillac Shawn". Pretty sure it runs 10.9's-11's. I'm thinking it is late 70's, early 80's model.

Wow! You look to cut some low 60 foot times, great reaction. Those Caddies can run well, 501 c.i.. and weighs 50 lbs more than a SBC.
