How much rust in the rails?Surprised it has any being parked in the winters.Very sharp looking truck BTW!

Its hard for one of our Ontario trucks to not see salt Bigdog. It would have seen salt at the end of every landscaping season (hauled landscape stone).

Its getting worse now. The municipalities start putting salt brine down in October any time the weather gets below 0 c (32f) even if its not snowing.

Doesn't look too bad yet...I'd paint as much as you can on that rust with Chassis Saver or another "paint over rust" type paint. Then maybe some black seam sealer.I did that to one that was pretty bad years ago on a guy's plow truck, stopped it in it's tracks! Can't believe they lay it down that much salt even with NO snow :pat: .

Looks absolutely awesome Keith.....if you find a "new" bumper and are willing to part with the old one, let me know, that is one of the big things that would help our rd look right.....too many steering wheel holders in the past have smashed the existing one up bad. We straightened it up as best we could, but it's still not right. That one you got looks identical other than it's chrome and our is black....

Again, excellent save on the r !!!

All the polishing and painting made a world of difference :)

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

New bumper is avalible from Watts.

I got it and can say it looks absolutely perfect.

As for the spokes I think red centers with whire rims will work.

Better make an easy BMP picture to play over with colors.

Or send me PM and have the one from me.
