Yesterday took the passenger seat out and most of the insides again to re-clean. (Autobody guys are so clean ) I think all the did was open the doors and blow some air. I was short on time before my kids got home so I took her for a service at the Speedco. After all the mechanical work last summer it was waiting on an oil change, coolant filter and fuel filters. I could not see changing the oil until after I got it back as I pulled an oil sample last May when I first got her. I had bought all new Mack filters so threw them in the truck and off I went. With oil sample and enviro fees was around $280. I thought about doing it but 15 gallons of Shell Roltella would have been around $200 with my discount, hassling with the filters and I still would have had to go over for the oil sample I figured it was easy enough. They rechecked all the fluids and I watched them, pretty decent crew there. Everyone commented on her and a couple drivers that were there getting serviced checked her out.Just got to get the seat redone or a seat cover and a new radio, I hooked up one of the speakers and could not get to turn up very loud.Here is one of my helper today, not a bulldog but he does match the truck 12 Quote Robert"I reject your reality and substitute my own." thomastractorsvc Posted May 15, 2014 Author Share Posted May 15, 2014 I don't think so, most of the stuff I have seen was worse than mine, years ago tried that vinyl repair epoxy on a Chevy dash pad, did not match and looked like I tried to fix it.Maybe I can find one of those custom carpet dash covers like you could get to cover the crappy repair on the Chevy dash pad. Thinking about taking it over to Inland Truck Part/Service on Friday, they are having a customer appreciation day from 11-2. I guess I qualify since I have bought a few things from them.
