I checked for voltage everywhere, has it, no fault codes, cranks real nice, fuel primer is hard. Any ideas? Bigdogtrucker Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 This was 10+ years ago,wasn't my regular truck.Was driving down the highway and she shut off like a plug was pulled!Called my buddy who drove that truck daily,he told me to do that.Sure as can be a few minutes later I was on my way.I remember my boss complaining about the cost off the computer and it being the size of a piece of toast...lol.Over $1,500- at the time. jnr_ate Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 6-4 is a link 1939 fault.check power your ecu from the fuse on the firewall panel(outside)the must be 3 power at the j2 engine ecu plug. pins 10 22 and 41. So a new box SHOULD cure this. (Fingers crossed).
