Ok folks here it is. The BIG question. LOL. Im trying to settle a debate with friends on adding extra non factory lights to a classic clean truck. Now I like "chicken" lights as much or more than the next guy. BUT. If you own a clean unmolested truck should you leave it alone or personalize it? My last new dropdeck had 32 marker lights that I had installed at the factory. I like lights but I also like a clean unmolested truck. Throw in youre 2 cents

Remember if it's got a hood it's no good!

I like a plain, stock looking truck as much as the next guy.........but again I like a few extra lights myself. I put a couple under the doors of my B so the tank step is lit up at night. Then a couple under the bunk.

Some extra lights added tastefully add personality to it, to many cheapen it. IMO Paul

I also put a couple red marker lights under the dash. I can now see around inside the truck at night without it being obnoxious. You can't see the fixture, just the red glow at your feet.

I put a couple of those tiny red LED lights inside the front corner of the bunk. Makes it nice to see to move around without the white flood light glaring.

I agree with what most have said,a few well placed lights here and there are ok,personally I just wouldn't go overboard. I added cab/sleeper length light bars to my CX and not much else,i put small oval shaped LED's with chrome frames on the ends of the mudflap brackets, and a few green LED's inside the cab,but that's pretty much it..................................Mark

Lots of lighting ideas for when Ken gets the pole installed in his trailer.

Concealed....

Colors....

LED.....

Don't forget the disco ball!

Pole? There is no room. I need to get rid of all the Mack parts I accumulated and some of my late brother's funiture. It turned into a storage trailer over the winter.

I'd like some extra lights, but can't bring myself to drill any holes in something that I spent time & money to make nice again. I think they can look good when you don't go overboard with them.Refer to vintage OVERDRIVE mags for ideas. My .02 Al
