I believe those are the optional heavy rears if it is like my 66 B-815sx. The lowest ratio they had in the day was 7.49:1 which mine is. It certainly won't win races but will pull stumps with ease. Mine is rated 58 MPH wiht the 11:00-24's on it if I read the Mack paperwork correctly. I can't answer the question for sure but am interested in the answer myself. I should point out that I have the Quadroplex with a 5th gear hig split ration of .69:1 overdrive.

Older style had 10 bolts all around, 4 of them were big.

Newer style has many bolts of the same size, almost like on a R-model.

Although I think CDR-92/93 are always newer ones.

R-models have a power divider shorter so if you put them in you should correct the prop shaft.

But you can go up to 4.17 - 3.86 that way.

It would be easier if you post some pics of your carriers.

Ring and pinion sets require set-up in a carrier housing so it's easier to swap whole diffs.
