post-147-0-40964500-1401055771_thumb.jpgThis cooler was attached to the right frame rail on the 88 Superliner I'm saving. I don't understand how this could work. Both lines went to the two drain plugs on the bottom. Any thoughts?

My 8LL's have a pump and the oil fittings are on the side where the lines run to a cooler next to the engine oil cooler, but these lines were hooked to the drain plugs on the bottom of the 12 speed. 12's have a small oil pump that runs off the input shaft and only oils the front bearing. No lines come out to run the oil to a cooler.
