When I get in those situations, I keep an eye on my driverside mirror and keep my trailer just off the yellow line(or whatever is over there). If I keep it tight there, I have no worries about the other side running into anything. Throw in some rain, night time and those ridiculous projector headlights coming at you....then I get nervous. The g/f usually just closes her eyes because she thinks all kinds of bad things are going to happen. Pfffft, nothing to it.

What was bad a couple years ago on the PA turnpike, they were using all cones to control what lane you used. Running around a bend, in the rain/dark you lost your way real quick if you looked too far ahead. The cones just all mushed together and you couldn't tell where you were suppose to be.

Leslie/Larry,

At least you guys have a hood to help place you in the lane. Try that without a hood, talk about a pucker factor! Driving a COE takes lots of skill.....but I can show you some scuff marks on the RH tire. I am so busy watching the front that I don't have time to look in the mirror. PA Turnpike tunnels get me concerned.

Ah, so I get to see a picture of the B dump crushing the aluminum ramps Mike Mackman was telling me about. Not quite rated for the lbs I'd say. I got there after 2pm today. Raining like heck but got in and found Ken and Mike. See you guys tomorrow. Hopefully the grounds will dry out a bit. I have to go wash my sneakers in the hotel tub now. Mud...
