hicrop10 Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Would have loved to make it but since I came out of retirement to help out a friend haven't had much time to work on the B87.Was in the shop by 7 this morning getting the cab ready for paint,will be back at it in the morning by 6 I hope.Will have the truck ready for next year. other dog Posted June 15, 2014 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Great pictures, that grocery truck reminded me of one that used to come by about once a week when I was only about 5 or 6 years old. All I remember was it was a man named Dan. It was a Ford truck I believe, but it was set up similar, had the scales, he even had fish on ice on the truck. Tom's red an white 361 Detroit powered Brockway I thought was the best lookin truck there! He got up with me yesterday to find out about places to go in Philly, he wanted to see some of the historical stuff and get a cheese steak so I sent him to "Olde City" where Independence Hall, Betsy Ross's Crib, and Elfreth's Alley are. Then I sent him to Tony Luke's, a pretty good steak place (no, not those Tourist Trap Geno's or Pat's Steaks.....) Told him to get a Cheese Steak, his buddy to get a Roast Pork Sammich, and split them in half so they could each try it out.When they land in Seattle they have to drive home- 5 hours......UGH!
