Popular Post RowdyRebel Posted July 3, 2014 Popular Post Share Posted July 3, 2014 EVERY truck ought to have a quick-connect hooked up to supply air to the tanks. Make up an adapter w/ 2 male fittings with a valve in between so you can plug into "shop" air...saves having to fire up the truck and run it to build air to release the brakes/air up the suspension/whatever else needs being done with air...just plug in and open the valve. Also, if the truck stalls out, it makes supplying air to release the brakes and pull you out of the way simple and pain free. I think it's ridiculous NOT to have a quick-connect somewhere on the tank...not to mention, throw an air drill, air cut-off, 1/2" impact, air ratchet, etc. in the tool box to make those quick roadside repairs go by that much quicker... 4 Quote When approaching a 4-way stop, the vehicle with the biggest tires has the right of way! Had a "female" on and even with a hobby truck the slide collar and the small balls got corroded and didn't plug in after a while. 2 Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
