TeamsterGrrrl Posted July 3, 2014 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Actually, the overall length is probably of more concern- assuming your trailers are the maximum of 20 meters long, that only gives you 5 meters for tractor cab and gap. 244" wheelbase is right at the 6.2 meter maximum allowed, so don't go any longer. TeamsterGrrrl Posted July 6, 2014 Share Posted July 6, 2014 A google search with that VIN shows it sold at Ritchey Auction for 35k CAD and it had a 1.6 meter sleeper, 460 hp Volvo engine, 18 speed, and 46k rears. With that sleeper, might want to make sure it won't be overlength with your trailers. You would have been better off with something under 230" of wheelbase for B trains.Hook er up and get the tape measure out.
