Q.f. I looked on line and brown trailers was a division of CLARK EQUIPMENT CO. from 1940's-1970's they had multiple plants TOLEDO OHIO-MICHIGAN CITY INDANA-SPOKANE WA-READING PA. coach built. com is the site. hope this helps

I stopped by a couple of the local trailer repair places and they mentioned it could be an early utility trailer.

Since there corporate office is only a few miles away I think I will stop by and see if it is a utility.

I stopped by the Utility Trailer Company corporate office yesterday. I was rather disappointed at there lack of interest. No one took the time to look at the pictures.

What is really ironic is that utility is celebrating there 100th anniversary this year and according to the internet they have created a book and video of there history but the staff did not mention this.

I can just picture the people you were dealing with. Probably didn't give a rats ass about one of their surviving trailers....all they would be interested in is what the cake would look like at the anniversary party.

Seems to be a lot of people around like that these days
