yes and a lot of lube. tire snot, silicone spray, dishsoap.

Ken-tool makes a tool called the "blue cobra". It isn't cheap by any means but that cute petite blond in high heels and mini skirt, at the last truck show I attended, was flipping tires like no body's business. Yes, I know they were new tires on new rims but she sure made it look a lot easier that what I'm used too. You can check it out on youtube searching "Blue cobra".

I use the TNT golden tool. Takes about ten seconds to demount a tire.

The Golden tool works very well, but not cheap.

If your trying to save money, the Ken Tool tire irons that TozziWelding mentioned above is the only way to go.

They have worked for many years, just use plenty of tire lube like Ray mentioned above.

Ken tools also makes a 54" bar like the one linked to above. I find the 54" bar takes less energy to use and for a old kodger like me, I'll take all the help I can get.

The flat spoon irons work well too but you need 1 of the above and 2 flat spoons, then nothing is impossible.

The vaseline type lube works better than the dish soap type lube.
