congrats on the truck , is the new trailer a meritt or Wilson? I haven't seen spread axle pup trailers like those super15's are pulling on the road for years, are they old trailers or just different bridge requirements? out west we would have grouped axles 2-3 or 4 a . 2 axle pup would have normal spread. the ones pictured in your photos that I know of would stand on the tailgate if the box is raised too high while spreading rock or a big blob of clay that would hang on the gate while dumping.

The trailer is a Wilson,we have 5 of them now,one 52' closed tandem, and four 53' spreads. Some weekend I will get all of our trucks hooked up and lined up for a group pic.

I'm not sure on the dump rigs. In Iowa, you can gross 80k on a normal 5 axle ,86k with a spread trailer,90k on 6 axles and 96k on 7 axles as long as you stay of the interstate.
