We used 1mm kiln dried sand on mine to blast away all the rust, was cheaper to get and worked pretty well, $300 for 3000lbs. Yours looks nice and neat, your frame looks pretty clean after you blasted it, nice work.

Looks good. I always wondered why someone would spec a truck with mack rears and hendrickson suspension when they could have camelback? Any insight?

Second Mack I have set up this way,cheaper to maintain,but most importantly they are much more stable when loaded. Waited quite a while to find this long wheelbase Mack set up this way. 282" wheelbase,Hendrickson spring,400 Mack with a 8LL transmission.post-15158-0-41733600-1406424290_thumb.j
