A friend of mine has 2 identical off breed red oval short slope nose day cabs with little Cats and autoshift 10 speeds,only one is on super singles,tractor and trailer,the other is running dual lo pro 22.5's. He and his brother drive them and have switched off from time to time just to check,but the one with singles gets consistantly .6 to .8 mpg better .I don't know as that would cover the extra expense of the tires and wheels,but it looks good on the quarterly IFTA report.
