I have a e-9 500hp 998 took apart for cam trouble. I took the lifters out to replace them and dealer could not get new ones. I found some good used ones and a new cam. The lifters I took out had a oil passage in the side but the used ones I found don't does anyone know why? or if there was an update?

Thanks in advance for any info!

I can not copy and paste here for some reason but search for hillcrest cam grinding in little rock ark.I know some one who uses them and I have installd one cam for a friend from them. They can grind your own and plus reface your lifters.

I went through this 2 years ago. All lifters are the same E6 E7 E9. Just updated and not cheap anymore. But when going to the new lifter you have to change push rods on either the exhaust or intake I cannot remember. The radius in the top of the new updated lifter is different. There is some service bulletins on this. I'm sure someone here can provide.
