I took the picture on 10-01-2008, I went there to look at another Diamond T. The guy was real tough to deal with. The trucks were sitting in the outdoors, rotting away from the moisture. He wanted what they would be worth if they were running, driving trucks. He died and most of his stuff went to the scrapper. I think the fire engine may have been from Woodstock, Vt. It was a b&w photo but it had a very nice paint scheme and the description said it was burgundy and white. I'll try to find it if I have time later. Full load and got a lot of people riding along side of trailer to take pictures. One fool almost hit the drop deck. State and was restored in the 70's 318 Chrysler, pushbutton transmission. Brought it to my house a few years ago and got it running, put crossmembere and new floor in bed, all new brakes. Was road testing it and some putty fell out of the fender. Had to fix that (quick) to go to a show. One of those things you really like but don't know why. Joe Ditchkus Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 The Diamond T with the snout went to the Keystone Tractor Museum Colonial Heights or Richmond, Virginia. The museum is right alongside I-95 on the southbound side. I spent the afternoon there in March. About 40 or more trucks restored inside and I think over 150 farm tractors restored inside also.
