First truck! First time driving one!

Bought it in VA and drove home to New Orleans last week.

Just bought an 05 Granite with the Alison 6 speed, 16' dump box.

Got about 6mpg running about 75mph.

I have some questions, not really sure how to properly use the jake brake, should the engine rev automatically when I switch on the pto, the turn signal stalk has a button on the end that I can't figure out what it does, the ac blows cold but not hard.

Any advice on any of this is appreciated!

The button should be the marker light cutout

What he said.....*edit: on my '11 GU only the cab marker (outer most) flash, I'D lights front and rear stay lit.....*

Engine brake, turn it on, let off throttle, should make noise and maybe slow you down... :)

PTO: i would say no, but I don't run a dump.......

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....
