06 Granite CV713 with some problems

Recommended Posts

I am new to Macks so anything you can tell me will be helpful.

1st: I see people talking about pulling the codes. On my Sterling it had a Diag. Option on the Odometer readout. How do I pull codes on this truck?

2nd: The truck either looses boost or it won't make boost at very inopportune times. It isn't always consistent but usually pull g a hill loaded or taking off from a stop sign it "flutters" the boost .

3rd: I have only been driving this truck for a year and a few months. I have never heard the clutch fan kick in. Now this is a 2 part problem. When I run the AC it freezes up when I stop at a light or am getting loaded. (This is a Roll-Off Truck) So what I did was unplugged the fan which ran it at 100% before turning on the AC and like magic the AC works fine. Plug it in and it freezes up. I wanted to install a override switch but was told it isn't possible on a Mack?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Key on, motor running or off, cruise on, push and hold set/resume switch. Count the CEL blinks for the blink codes. X-X are the flashes with a pause in between. Or take it to have it scanned

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....
