Brought home a G77 one owner .........Nice truck that came with a 300 cummins. Note the frame modification made at the factory for the blower. There are brackets on the cab? is that where the mirrors should be in lieu of the door mount?

This is a photo by Barry Bertram on Hanks with the mirrors mounted off them. Paul

Those shields on the front corners were wind deflectors and were supposed to keep road spray off the side windows so I've been told.

Oh. The old Whites were the only trucks i've seen them on before.

Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.

Quite a few MR's have the deflectors also. Paul

Is that a smaller than normal bunk,or its it just the angle? And no side box doors, very unusal and sweet looking truck. Can't wait to see what you do with it.If you ned anything let me know,I have a few parts.I'm lost on those brackets, don't know what they are for.

I had seen it listed that there were two different sleeper cab lengths for G models, but can't find it now, everything I looked at lists 80 inch only. The F shows two sizes, possibly it was offered on the later production G's.

None of my G literature shows 2 sleeper sizes, just one,but I swear I've seen at least one other that looked like it had a short bunk, but like Dan's pics, the angle makes it hard to tell.

What year is it supposed to be? I would guess a late '61 or '62. I agree with Mike, the bunk does look small, the vent appears to be in the standard position but the distance to the back of the cab is short. All of the G's except for the 1959 models with the louvered had an left compartment, yours does not. I attached a picture of one of mine, the distance to the back of the cab is evident. The interior photo really tells the tale.

This is the first one like that I have seen and I have seen a bunch.

I am interested to see the info from the Mack Museum on the G77.

Again, Great score!
