The ad says 1950 Mack, but I'm not sure what model. I was wondering if someone knew what it was.

It looks like it has suicide doors?

I have been trying to figure that out Jim, I think it is about an hour west of my place. It looks like some type of museum.

You guys have me thinkn I should own it. I don't think I need another project though.

Thanks for the input!

85snowdog it belongs to the guy from Zephyr Peat up east of Barrie. He's a fellow Great Lakes Truck Club member and HCEA member. He had it up at Clifford in June and said he had 2 and that one was the worse of the 2 . I think he has a lot of stuff I know he has a really sweet F700 with a 866 375HP V8 he pulls the float and brigs a Northwest Model41 dragline up to the HCEA events .

Thanks BAD DOG, I have seen pics of the F700, I think you posted them. It looks very sharp!

As much as I would like to have something that is very rare. I think it would give me a nervous breakdown trying to get it restored. Its a chore buying parts for an R600

at times. I can just see the look on the parts guys face when I ask for something for a 1950 LMU.

Very interesting truck though.

If that one is the worse of the 2,I'd love to see pics of the other. I've seen pics of others, and that's the nicest one I've seen to date. That same basic cab was used on the early C series and also the military NJU and NMU trucks of WW2 vintage.

I forgot about the EB and EC . I let a NJU get away from me about 15 yrs. ago,it was a tad rough but complete,it was in a old truck parts/salvage yard near Dixon,IL that was bought out by a scrapper, over 40 acres of trucks from 20's to the 70's. There were many that didn't get saved that should have, but lack of funds only allowed me to get a handful.

Keith,

That's really interesting and rare find.

Shure worth restoring, I think someone will buy it and take a care about. At least I hope.

Thank you for sharing.
