Latley when I shut the Dyntard off it sounds as if 1 cyl is still trying to jake. Maybe its 2 cyl under the same rocker cover im not sure. Unless you have the window down you wouldn't hear it. Keep in mind that my E9 is under my butt not out in front like most trucks. What would cause it to stay "jakeing" for few seconds after switch is shut off?

Remember if it's got a hood it's no good!

mine will do that when the eng.is not yet up to temp. I have not cut one apart but I would think that there is a internal piston that the solenoid "moves" so a scored bore or a weak return spring could be at fault.

My 84 did the same thing, rebuilt the solenoids and it went away.

yep just jump the fence at the local truck wreckers and "trade" them solenoids just look for the one with the daylight crankshaft they will never find out that the sol. was bad. and yes I have used e-6 ones on the e-9 there the same.
