I bought some U-Model spec sheets lately. U 615T V-8 864,U -615St, U 615LSt all 864 powered. The one I did not realize was ever built was a U 640St powered by a EN 540A Gas engine. It had duplex and triplex trans. avaible. Did anyone ever see a gas powered U-Model/ I saw R-Models with gas. Thanks Joe D.

They should have run a Chrysler Slant 6 as an offset for the cab.

Might have sold more that way.

IFRC, the engine "slanted" to the right. That would counterbalance the U cab.
