this eastern terminology kills me ! these are what would be called 4 axle dumps out west a tri axle would mean 3 drive axles. when referring to a truck. a standard 3 axle truck would be advertised as a tandem. ! or twin screw.

I know of this company that has these trucks.Family owned has been around a long time.Always see the trucks around town.If I not mistaken they are kept in the shed. Our own company was the benchmark when it came to maintaining our equipment,we were doing cat certified rebuild long before cat started.I guess that why when we decided to get out, our 35 year old D9 tractors were one of the first to go..The point I m trying to make is that this company has a excellent reputation for maintaining their equipment.

I hear ya' Gearhead! but the western terminology has always befuddled me as well! A-Train? B-Doubles? Rocky Mountain doubles?..................My late friend Howard had never heard the term "Twin-Screw" or Tri-axle till he started running the east coast, never knew there were actually farms in Jersey either Lol!....................................Mark
