xdudebrahx Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 I'd like to see some pictures of Dayton spokes decked out with chrome lug nut covers. Red spokes with a white rim would be a plus. And if anyone could tip me off as to what size the lug nuts are I'd appreciate it. I'm going to be ordering lug nut caps soon but I always forget to measure the nuts when I'm at work. keg1 Posted November 19, 2014 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Rim clamp nuts should be the same front and rear. My 69 r model had smaller nuts on steer axle though. They were either 1 1/16 or 1 1/8. Found "almond white" Rustoleum and "Apple red" and just decided to copy what was originally on the rest of the trucks.We have a tire shop we deal with locally and whenever we get spares, the rims are always mis-matched or rusty and cruddy.
