Had to clean it as best as I could, because it appears to be original (or close to it). Ran the wire to a new toggle switch by the fuel gauge and powered it by a wire off the ignition switch. Wobblin-Goblin Posted April 27, 2015 Author Share Posted April 27, 2015 Started work on the dump body today. The chute door was caked solid with asphalt, but now it's all free and working properly. I did a bunch of grinding and welding on it, too. It certainly looks better, but I've got another morning's worth of torching, pounding, and welding left to do before sandblasting it. Wobblin-Goblin Posted April 30, 2015 Author Share Posted April 30, 2015 OK gents, I just got in 30 minutes ago, and after a looooong day of moving the body, setting it up, sandblasting, moving it and setting it up inside to paint, welding some patches in, fixing a few more things, it's now finished. Painted. Sorry, no pics. I forgot to snap a couple when I was done.
