That's the type of KW this driver has. I sat in it and felt like I was in my living room compared to the Pinnacle.

What does the "R" stand for?

I wish they would put better coax and antennas on new trucks. They go to such great lengths to route everything through the mirror brackets and out in the ceiling to hide everything but it makes it nearly impossible to replace without taking the truck apart. We used to get most of our radio work done at a CB shop in Bedford, and the guy always complained that they used the sorriest, cheapest coax and antennas money could buy on brand new KWs.

It's no doubt a cost issue. I guess they figure that many drivers don't run cb's, so why put the expense into doing it right.

R is road and tom,,,know what you mean,,example lotta us had big funny channel radios,,,had to buy smaller ones to fit in the new cabs had a galaxy 66,,,had to buy a cobra 29,,,but im happy with it,and they coulda used little better antenna,s some of our guys went to francis,,guess these builders think we all run little radio,s hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...bob
