Why is this odd? I plan on getting a million miles before a overhaul. And that's and stop and go short trip. My last in frame was a 427 with 920,000 and head gasket started leaking. Liners still had crosshatching on them except one was falling in the block.

"Mack is trumpeting the virtues of its engines" That is funny because the current engines from mack have absolutely nothing in common with the e7.

I would like to know more about this model CHR. In the states the only CH dump/ tipper trucks i have ever seen were converted tractors.

We have a 97' CH E-7 400 hp , has had a lot of drivers thru it and never been overhauled yet at 1.29 million miles.

Wow, now that is impressive! Just as all the other examples of the trucks on this thread. Mack really is the best truck made...but not so much anymore because of ties with Volvo.
