We also did the other magnum he has as well. have you seen that one ?it used to belong to a guy Ed Roop it had aluminum frame rails In that one we had to put steel rails in it the aluminum rails were shot. mackdaddy Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 when you refer to aluminum rails would that be from a splice located under the cab? it would have still had the steel rails in the front right? Mack man 1973 Posted December 1, 2014 Author Share Posted December 1, 2014 The truck I am referring to with factory aluminum rails is not the one in the pic but a different truck we did. It had complete aluminum rails front to back . We changed them and put brand new complete steel rails in it one complete rail front to back. They were factory oem frame rails we ordered. They come pre drilled back to the fuel tanks and the rest were drilled by hand . The one in the picture originally had 1/4in steel rails in it .I put in two new oem steel rails in that truck 3/8in thick the truck is a rw600 the customer wanted the 700 rails installed in it that is what the one in the pics has in it 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is nice to see people who know how much it takes to make a truck look like that.
