The flash to pass switch works and they light up but not the main switch. The switch connections look good on the back and the relay is working. Any suggestions? I've seen the power wire get corroded from the heat of power running through the wires and over time, you loose connection. scottwetzel Posted December 10, 2014 Author Share Posted December 10, 2014 Ok I found that on the back of the switch there are supposed to be to power wires coming into the switch. The power wire on the side that the headlight wire is on has no power. If I jump the power from the the working power wire to the one that's not working power wire the headlights work. I'd like to find why it has no power but would rather no start tearing my entire dash apart. Any ideas why it lost power? So I jumped the other side right now to get headlights. Get a new 30 amp circut breaker- first one on the left in "glove box"- may seem to work but will get weaker every time it opens. I'll make a entire new left plate and cut gauge holes in and put all the switches where I want them. Thanks for the info. One of mine is bad but I have not started working on it yet.previous owner did that to Super Mutt,too.Never had trouble with any of my others. Should be a "spare" spot in the fuse panel to get the power from.
