Charlie Hatfield Posted December 15, 2014 Share Posted December 15, 2014 It is a top frame made out of angle iron to hold the battery's in place. It was held in place by threaded rod. When I had my "L" fire truck I mounted a heavy duty "Kill" (on-off) switch on the inside metal of Passenger seat next to drivers seat to turn off battery's when not in use. It also prevented people from turning switch's to on on the dash and run your battery's down. Also kept the siren quite. If people get in your truck they won't see it, unless they know it's there.
