I ordered a couple of CD's for Jo recently from Amazon (she asked for them, and I figured it was the least I could do,since I completely forgot her birthday-women are funny about that kind of thing). So while I was ordering,I figured i'd get something for myself too. I have several books by Ron Adams, all good, but saw one called "Mack Trucks" that I didn't have,so I ordered it too. It's really great, mainly about the first 70 years of Mack history-goes from the beginning up to the sixties. I saw Mack truck pictures that i've never seen before, and i've looked at every single picture on Hank's truck pictures. It's a book well worth having, and if anyone needs a picture of a rare model never seen or heard of before, let me know,i'll look it up for 'ya. Here's a couple of sample pages...

Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.

Hey,

Could you look up (if you can) the H-63 series snub-nose cabovers???

Wow you barely see any of those oldies restored. I wonder why? I realize those are what, late 30's 40' models? Maybe I am not paying enough attention.

Hi Thad, the H-63's were a mid 50's produced truck. My uncle bought one a few days before Christmas. He also got a 1961 B-61 with a "box sleeper" he is hanging as a "carrot" out in front of me testing my resistance.....

I can hardly wait to justify this one.

Rob,

I originally posted the query as I have never seen the H-Series anywhere! There were none in Australia - were they only marketed in America???

I don't have an answer for that as they are before my time. My uncle drove one for Mclean freight and it was one of his favorite trucks many years ago.

Rob,

That's other dog's job - he's the owner of the book the info will be coming from!
